US STOCKS-Indexes open higher on upgrades, oil drop

(Reuters) - Investors are expected to seek direction from data on May
existing home sales due at 10 a.m. .




The Dow Jones industrial average was up 42.35
points, or 0.32 percent, at 13,402.61. The Standard & Poor's
500 Index was up 2.43 points, or 0.16 percent, at
1,504.99. The Nasdaq Composite Index was up 2.21
points, or 0.09 percent, at 2,591.17.
