(Reuters) - STOCKHOLM, July 16 - Compressor and machinery
maker Atlas Copco reported better-than-expected
quarterly pretax earnings on Monday and said it would raise
manufacturing capacity to meet strong demand.
The Sweden-based firm posted record pretax earnings of 3.22
billion Swedish crowns , compared with 2.20
billion crowns a year ago and a mean forecast of 2.88 billion in
a Reuters poll of analysts.
