Latin American Shares Advance on Commodity Demand, Corporate Profit Growth

(Bloomberg) -- Latin American stocks rose on
speculation that global demand for metals and oil will boost
corporate profits. Raw-materials producers led the advance.

The Bovespa Index of the most-traded stocks on the Sao Paulo
exchange headed for a fifth month of gains, rising 598.02, or 1.1
percent, to 55,170.63 as of 12:39 p.m. New York time. Mexico's
Bolsa index rallied 280.25, or 0.9 percent, to 31,180.93. Even
with today's gain, the index is little changed for the month.

Mexico Bolsa Rises to Record, Led by America Movil; Chilean Stocks Decline

(Bloomberg) -- Mexico's main stock index jumped to a
record, heading for its biggest weekly gain since March, as
emerging markets rallied and Standard & Poor's said it may raise
the country's credit rating.

The Bolsa index advanced 369.96, or 1.2 percent, to 32,547.79
as of 1:46 p.m. in New York, led by America Movil SAB, Latin
America's biggest mobile phone company. The index was up 4.5
percent for the week, and today eclipsed a June 5 record. Brazil's
main stock index was heading for it biggest weekly gain in three.

Mexican Bolsa Rises on Rating Outlook, Led by America Movil; Bovespa Gains

(Bloomberg) -- Mexico's Bolsa index rose for a fifth
day as investors bet the country's credit rating will be raised by
Standard & Poor's, reducing government borrowing costs and fueling
spending.

The benchmark Bolsa index advanced 242.19, or 0.8 percent, to
31,662.88 as of 11:57 a.m. in New York, led by America Movil SAB,
Latin America's biggest mobile-phone company. Brazil's Bovespa
index rose 0.2 percent to a record 55,503.91.

Axtel, Cemex, Grupo Mexico and Telefonos de Mexico: Mexican Equity Movers

(Bloomberg) -- Mexico's main stock index fell for the
first time in five days, led by cement maker Cemex SAB.

The Bolsa index retreated 285.03, or 0.9 percent, to 31,933.14
at 10:14 a.m. New York time.
