Treasuries Fall on Speculation Fed Report to Show Manufacturing Expansion

(Bloomberg) -- Treasuries dropped for a second day
on expectations a central bank report will show a pickup in
manufacturing, supporting Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson's
assessment that the economy is ``strong.''

Benchmark 10-year notes fell more than two-year debt for a
fourth straight day, signaling investors expect faster growth to
spur inflation. Treasuries also declined on concern traders will
trim holdings to guard against possible losses as companies
including Home Depot Inc. and First Data Corp. plan debt sales.

US STOCKS-Higher open eyed on Home Depot, Morgan Stanley

(Reuters) - NEW YORK, June 20 - U.S. stocks headed for a
higher opening on Wednesday, helped by news of a $22.5 billion
share repurchase plan from Home Depot Inc. and
investment bank Morgan Stanley's stronger-than-expected
profit.




Shares of Home Depot, a component of the Dow Jones
industrial average , were up 5.7 percent in electronic
trade, while Morgan Stanley's stock rose 2 percent.

(Reuters) - NEW YORK, June 20 - U.S. stock futures rose on
Wednesday, helped by news of a $22.5 billion share repurchase
plan from Home Depot Inc. and investment bank Morgan
Stanley's stronger-than-expected profit.




Shares of Home Depot, a component of the Dow Jones
industrial average , were up 5.7 percent in electronic
trade, while Morgan Stanley's stock rose 2 percent.

UPDATE 2-Home Depot in $10 bln deal to sell unit--sources

(Reuters) - NEW YORK, June 19 - Home Depot Inc. has
agreed to sell its supply division to three private equity
firms, sources said on Tuesday, in a roughly $10 billion deal
that unloads a business the home-improvement retailer's former
chief executive worked to expand.




Bain Capital, Carlyle Group and Clayton, Dubilier
& Rice won the auction and were finalizing the deal early on
Tuesday, sources close to the process told Reuters.
